One of the most essential elements for a child's spiritual development is their family, so we want to help equip parents to love and instruct their children well.

Ministering to Our Children

RoL KIDS

Every Sunday dedicated River of Life members teach our children the overarching story of the entire Bible through the Gospel Project. Over the course of three years River Kids will learn about God's character and how He has acted in history to create, reconcile, and restore humans to Himself.

Currently we have one RoL Kids class which meets while the sermon is being preached.

Babies & Youth

Kids' ministry is often one of the first things people look for in a new church home, and as River of Life has grown, we’ve seen new needs arise.

Currently, we have a creche room where parents can stay with their children and still hear the sermon. But our desire is to start ministries for babies and youth in the near future.

My Church Notebook

We are happy to be able to give these creatively structured notebooks to our elementary aged children to interact with the sermon message. By listening for answers to questions and making notes of things they might not yet understand, they are challenged to grow in their skills and understanding.

Utilizing the My Church Notebook can be a great way to engage your child during the week, discussing God's Word at home! In conclusion, as children observe and join believers in worship, our hope is that over time they learn to concentrate on God and see His greatness for themselves.

The calling we have as parents is significant, and the journey can be challenging. But the good news is that the responsibility of shepherding our children is meant to be shared within a community. In other words, you’re not meant to do it alone!

Being an active part of a healthy church family helps us stay encouraged and equipped through the highs and lows of parenting. Only by staying connected to Jesus can we receive His grace and extend forgiveness to others, living out the Gospel every day.
